Blessings

Today I would like to take some time to thank all of the wonderful people who have blessed my life. First to my sweet husband who is such a patient and loving father, and so disciplined and responsible. He makes sure our family is taken care of and has a future with a smile and a willing heart. He is always there for me when I need him and almost always knows just what to say. Next to my mother in law. She has one of the most giving hearts. She is so sweet and kind and is always looking out for our family and supporting us in everything we do. She's always there when you need her for advice or just to make your day happier. Then we have my moms and dads. Yes I know that sounds a bit weird but its true! Not only do i have the best Mom and Dad I also have The best Step mom and step dad! Since I was little they all did an amazing job raising me and my brothers and sisters. I am the luckiest person ever! It is not every day that you hear of divorced partents and thier spouses working together to raise the kids in a happy well balanced home/s :) and doing it with minimal discord! I am eternally greatfull to all of you! You taught me the things I needed to know to be a good mom and wife and to be a good member of the church. And you are all still there for me with moral support and uplifting words and plenty of love! Next is Jessica. I am so very thankful I have a best friend who always picks up her phone and listens to me cry ( even though I am sure you understand about none of it). I am so greatful That even though I had to move away she still makes an effort to call and make sure our connection and bond is not lost through the miles between us. And last would be to the Haydens in our ward. They are such a sweet family with the most adorable kids who we met just as I was about to give up in the friend department. They made us feel welocome and wanted when we knew no one and were feeling like outsiders. They are always going out of thier way I am sure to help us out and feel welcome. So thank you every one and the many more people I havn't mentioned! Like the rest of my family and friends! I love you all and am very greatful for the love you have shown to my family and I.

Where I learned to do the dresser transformation

Well I forgot to mention something important about my dresser post! I got the idea from my talented little sister who is always coming up with new ways to make the world around her more beautiful! She taught me how to do the decorative papering that i put on the front of the dresser drawers last christmas on to card board letters. That was the funnest cutest craft ever! Then she came up with the idea a few months ago to put it on her dresser drawers! I loved it so much that when I got a new bed spread I just had to copy her!! Thaks cait for the awesome ideas and decorating expertise!! I need to fly you out here to finish the rest of my house it needs you! ha ha ha. I should also probably mention my mother who is also very talented in the re vamping furniture area! She has always had many projects like this and has had cait and I help her do many of them so we could learn how to put caitlin's great ideas into reality! With out these two i wouldn't have a chance in the world! love you guys!!

weekend project

For my weekend project i decided to redo my dresser that I have had since I was little. So one day and one really bad sunburn later! I end up this far...
Today we get to go and pick out the handles for it! I am going to get a dark silver. I also have to finish doing the antiquing. Now I just have an a night stand and my kitchen tabel to complete and I will be all donebut nest time I will definetly use suncreen! ouch!!

I decided to do this because my wonderful mother in law gave me a gorgeous blue bed spread and silk chocolate brown throw pillows for our bedroom and I love them so much I just had to make sure my bedroom matched our very gorgeous bed! When i am done with the whole project I will post pics of the whole room makeover!

gone brown

I decided to go brown! Well I love my hair blonde but it was just to hard to keep up with since my mom doesn't live in texas. So I had to go back to my natural hair color at least until We move back to Az.

They grow so fast!

Well I was looking back at some of the pictures we have taken over the few years and realized how fast my babies were growing! It feels like just yesterday I was bringing my sweet first born daughter home. The shock of the fact that I know had to be in charge of keeping this sweet little girl alive was scary yet exciting! I remember every noise she made would have me running to her side. Always carrying the baby monitor around in my tiny apartment afraid that if I went to the bathroom without it she would need me and I would not be able to hear her. That feeling soon wore off though! She grew up and turned in to a very independent little toddler. Only needing me for food and kisses on her "owies".

Then when she was 14 months old we brought home little baby Maddox. After a scary two weeks in the NICU my little prince was finally allowed to come home with us. We were so overjoyed to have him home, Rian called him doggie and kept asking when he was going to go home. But she soon realized that he was "her baby" and then no one was allowed to touch him without her permission. ( she was a little over protective for a while). She couldn't say maddox so she called him ox, which fit cause he soon got really chunky and was big as an ox.

Now they are the best of friends always playing with each other and teasing each other and beating on each other. Rian is still my independent princess girl and maddox is my sweet little mama's boy, always in the mood for kisses and cuddles.

It is such a great blessing to be the mom of the two most perfect kids anyone could ask for. They bring joy and sunshine to my life every day. And I am great full for every day I have to spend with my babies. Cause they will always be my babies no matter how big they get!

Very sad day :(

Today we woke up to our sweet puppy bella having a small seizure. I rushed her to the animal hospital and they diagnosed her with distemper. It is kinds of the animal version of polio. she has a 25% chance of surviving this. she has now had one seizure every hour and there is no treatment. so basically have to sit her and watch my poor puppy die. Because their is that chance of survival the vet has asked me to wait and see if she gets worse before we decide to put her down. i cannot stop crying then the vet tells me that if she dies i can get another dog from the spca for free. But i dont want another dog! she is my baby like one of my kids. I just cannot imagine loosing her and it hurts to see her seizureing although the vet assured me that it is not painful jsut scarry. I hate this but i hope she survives.

Please please pray for our puppy. I just dont know how much more her little puppy brain can handle. thx.
