Holloween through christmas! MASS PICS!

Now I realize I have not been up to date with all my blogging but i have just been so so so busy! so i hope you all can forgive me! But here it is! Holloween through christmas! for holloween we went to a birthday party for rian's lil boyfriend khalil and ry and mad were pirates. then we flew home to az ( the kids and i) and went trick or treating there and were able to be there when little riley was born! Then we flew back and waited three or four weeks for brocks christmas break to start. At that time we flew back down to AZ for a three week christmas break! During that break we got to go up and play in the snow in payson, Rian had her 3rd Bday, We got sealed in the Mesa Temple, my little bro got married in the mesa temple, We celebrated Christmas and New years! Then jan 4th we flew back home so so sad to leave our desert paradise behind for our smoggy 30 degree town we now live in! And just when i was feeling a bit depressed two weeks later it was time for me to get on another airplane and fly to sunny california to go to a convention at disneyland! While there I was inspired lifted up and met a really amazing new friend named Amber and have now decided that she is adopted into my family as one of my sisters! We had so much fun playing and laughing and staying up till 4 am talking like we were in high school again. We even got to run around disneyland for a few hrs! We just had way way to much fun and two and a half days was just not enough! on the way to the airport i found my self hoping i would miss my plane so i could say and play with her for at least a few more hours. But i made the plan e and here I am finally recovered from all our traveling and have decided that maybe i should get a credit card with frequent flier miles!

Surprise!!

Well It has been a while but we have just been so very busy! We had Halloween in Arizona and also stayed to be there when Riley my niece was born. Then we came back to Texas and spent thanksgiving with Brock's grandparents up in cypress TX. Then after that we started working hard! Brock was studying for his finals this past few weeks and also we have been working trying to get all the paper work in order for something extra special. Can you guess what that would be???? WE ARE GETTING SEALED THIS MONTH!!!!!! Finally after 3 1/2 yrs of be being "pushy" its paid off ha ha ha. we are so so so excited. So next week we will be in Arizona! we are staying for 3 weeks. Rian will turn three this month too! crazy! And Maddox will be two in 3 months my babies are growing up too fast!. so my plan is to be pregnant by February... but i have the whole convincing brock to have more babies obstacle to figure out first. What to do what to do.... well here are some pictures of Halloween for ya'll! sorry they are a bit late!

Ok really these pics are backwards the one below is the before and the one above is after. This dress up wedding dress was made by my mom for me when i was five. i loved it so naturally i wanted to give it to rian but problem was it was ripped, stained, the lace was falling off, it was way out of fashion, and like 5 sizes too big! So i set to revive my favorite play dress of my youth and it came out pretty good! rian refuses to take it off! I had to take the picture when she was taking a nap cause no one is allowed to touch her "pwetty mawied dwess" (pretty married dress for those who don't speak baby lol)

Pirate Rian

This is Rian's Halloween costume's head dress. I had to modify it a bit just special for her because, of course, my kid have the biggest head ever so no normal kids hat would possible even come close to fitting on her head. So I took the original pirate hat and snipped it in a few places. then to hide the altering and make the hat larger I added elastic. Then to hid the elastic I used a hot glue gun and added yarn to make her have pirate dred locks. then after all that the hat was still just a bit too small so i have to clip it in to her hair cause i have come to realize that if i snip that hat any more it will fall apart her head is just too big! maybe i should go try to find an adult size hat.... but doesn't my little pirate princess look adorable! she really wants brock or I to be snow man for halloween ( i have no idea why) but any time the subject of Halloween comes up she says "you gonna be a snow man mommy/daddy?". She is just so much fun!

Rian's hair is finally long enough to put rollers in and she actually begged me to do it! it was so fun having some girly time with my princess.

I let both the kids but their foam stickers any where they wanted on their cowboy/cowgirl hats they loved it but soon all the stickers started ending up on their bodies and my table and entertainment center.

Almost every day when daddy comes home from school he gets on the ground and gives the kids a ride this time he thought if he did it two at a time there would be no fighting who went first... he was right of course but he got tired alot faster! ha ha ha

I found these pics from some dates we went on in AZ. Brock will do anything to make me laugh! This one is in that weird hippie shop on mill ave. isn't he a hot little toker?! haha

This next one is at the park by our old apartment right before i had rian... he really enjoyed himself on that duck. I was afraid it would snap under his weight but none the less it was hilarious to watch!

crazy kids!

Well Brock has started his 3rd tri... so far he says its not so fun just alot of really really hard classes. but he is excited because finally this tri he starts to learn adjustments. I am excited too! I love it when he practices on me. I am so proud of him! He is doing such a great job he finished last tri with a 3.6 GPA! I am so great full that he is so dedicated to his schooling so he can provide a great life for us!

Rian is getting so big. she is full of attitude and energy. me not so much, its hard to keep up with her. she loves to play dress up and house and dance and sing at the top of her lungs. On Sunday I was in the primary waiting my turn to do music time and the nursery leader cam in with rian and whispered that rian needed to go to the bathroom. As soon as Ri saw me she shouted(in the quiet primary room) "mommy meg! I need to go poo poo right now! Will you wipe my butt!" everyone stopped what they were doing and laughed, I turned red, And Rian smiled pleased with herself for getting everyone's attention with one simple outburst. I quickly grabbed her and ran out of the room and back to the nursery rooms toilet. And the best part is i had to fight with her in the bathroom for 5 min. just to get her to go potty! of course! she is such a stinker! she always knows just what to say in public to make me embarrassed! Like when she is misbehaving and trying to run away from me and i grab her she will start screaming "ouch let go of me let go! your hurting me! oooooooooooooowww!" you wouldn't believe the looks I get from people like I was the worst mom... then as soon as i let go she just grins and looks at me and whispers "just kidding" then runs off again. she thinks she is so funny. and she is. clever too!

Maddox is just such a boy and definitely filling his annoying little brother roll perfectly ha ha. He is finally getting that he can do things to Rian that make her upset. getting back at her i am sure for all the mean stunts she's pulled on him. And now he is big enough that she can't really push him around anymore. the other week he took her sippy cup and wouldn't give it back so she just stood in the middle of the room crying and i came to find out why and i see him running in circles around her shaking her cup and laughing and her crying " my cup, my cup" it was so funny but i tried really hard not to laugh to hard so that he would know that teasing his sister was not OK. Then a few days later rian was sitting on the floor playing with a doll and maddox come over grabbed the laundry basket trapped her in it and sat on top of it so she couldn't get out. he thought this was hilarious she was screaming let me out and he was shaking his head no and laughing so loud. I love that little boy he is just such a cutie and he looks so innocent! You would never believe that he had every done anything wrong, sad to say that i am sure rian has probably gotten blamed for some of his mischief just simply because when I find something wrong he looks at you with those big blue innocent eyes like he is completely oblivious and then ri will look at you with a devilish grin sure that maddox will be blamed but it just makes her look guilty ha ha ha so now i have to be very careful about every situation and make sure i know what really happened. ha ha ha man they keep me busy!

This week I tried to go back blonde doing my hair all by my self with the occasional help from brock. And now i have ended up with fried melted hair and a strange orange brown tint to my hair with a few highlights. ha ha ha it is so funny! i managed to tone down the orange starburst look but my hair is just awe-fully melted but it is all good cause i really wanted to cut my hair off but i was feeling a bit guilty cause it took forever to grow it this long and my whole life i thought i had wanted long hair but now that i have it i just think its boring! (plus I am pretty sure brock likes my hair longer better). so this gives me the perfect excuse to cut it! yay! so I am going to have Courtney (brock's cousin) cut it off this Friday and i am so so excited! oh i am teaching a hair class for the young women this week and i am oddly nervous! i forget what is common knowledge to me might not be the case for them! so what do i teach! ha ha ha wish me luck!

SO I really like this pic of edward and bella. I just thought i would share it i stumbled upon it while looking for trailers of the new moon movie and i think it is the best one i have seen! I love the glowing apple and how edward looks dangerous and bella so pure and fragile one of the first times i have seen these guys acually look the part they play in the movie.
